Explain the goals of the Truman and Eisenhower doctrines and the Marshall Plan.

The main purpose of these doctrines was to help the European powers (especially those in the east of Europe) that suffered from the Second World War, since many cities were reduced to ruins, the fields were not cultivated, and the number of people who could work was small. Also, these plans were aimed at countering communist ideas, which were actively promoted by the Soviet Union. It is worth noting that assistance was also offered to the USSR, but the Union refused, since the Marshall Plan required serious restrictions of the Communist Party.
